Pastor Meetings

Finding Serious Leaders to Progress the Gospel

We hold Pastor Awareness Meetings (PM's) to hear what God is already doing in national churches in WACA. And share about the tool Live School is and how it can help local missions-minded pastors accomplish their God-given, Great Commission vision.  We provoke, enthuse, and inspire believers to action and identify local churches interested in using Live School as a tool to train some of their members to reach the those with least access to the Gospel. During the PM we often show the pastors a session or two of the Live School curriculum, so that they can experience some of the material. These PM's may take anywhere from an afternoon to days long.

Facilitator Trainings

Future Leaders Go Through Church Planting Lessons.

After the PM’s, some pastors decide to use Live School (LS). They return back to their churches and recruit others who will run the school on their behalf. We set a date  to train their potential facilitators at an agreed upon place. The Facilitator Training (FT) teaches the potential facilitators how to properly run LS, so that it is most effective. It takes about 3 days to train them. We train one facilitator for every 8 students. The facilitators then return to their churches and recruit their students for their first intake. Once the students are recruited the churches contribute to the LS ministry, and the Live School unit is given to the host church. They then begin going through the school curriculum with a practicum at the end of it.

Mobilization

Encourage and Council Our Graduates as They Build Christ's Church.

After going through the curriculum phase the students go on outreach to make disciples, usually resulting in “branch churches” being planted among new believers. The vision or task the students are to accomplish is kept before them throughout their Live School experience. The target area of outreach is decided upon before and refined during the intake’s curriculum phase of LS. We have found that students are drawn to accomplish a vision. God is moving in mighty ways through them as a result, and many churches are being established in areas that have never been reached before!
